Anastasiia Gratz is an artist, retoucher, and photographer based in Moscow. She works within the concept of “photography as a canvas,” where images become doorways into alternative worlds and the boundaries between form, time, and cultures are deliberately blurred. Her practice is grounded in constant experimentation: Nastya invents and develops new editing techniques, working primarily in Photoshop and occasionally with artificial intelligence. Her works combine elements of historicism and symbolism, while color becomes the main tool for conveying emotions and sensations. Each photograph transforms into a self-contained universe, telling its own story.
